This innovative and award winning green garlic powder is a vibrant coloured, flavoursome fine powder made from true garlic (Allium sativum). The powder is a vivid green colour with a gentle garlic smell and flavour. The texture is velvety and easy to distribute.

The powder has a distinctive garlic flavour that is subtle, warming and grounding with no sharpness or heat as associated with cured or fresh bulb garlic. It does not linger on the palette. With this flavour profile the powder does not overpower more subtle flavours of vegetables and light sauces yet adds colour and depth of flavour. Heavier use will stand up to roasting, casseroles and braises.

The material is hand cut, washed and dried within hours of harvest. Once dried the material is ground to a fine powder suitable for sprinkling. All of this is done on farm in the Southern Tablelands of NSW.

100% garlic with no additives or desiccants, the vivid green of the premium finishing garlic powder is due to particular growing and processing techniques developed by Longview garlic. It is the first of its kind in Australia.

As with all herbs and spices it is best stored in a cool, dark place.
